Standing Seam Tray is a variable width (Std 510mm wide) tray roofing and cladding system, roll formed in single length trays and hidden fixed to solid substrate.

Specifications

Standing Seam Tray is available in three different profiles:

  • Single Standing Seam (also referred to as Angle Seam)
  • Double Standing Seam
  • Roll Cap.

Standing Seam Tray is available in the following materials and base metal thicknesses (BMT):

  • Steel, Zincalume and pre-finished (COLORSTEEL® or ColorCote®): BMT 0.40mm, 0.55mm, and 0.75mm
  • Copper: BMT 0.50mm, and 0.70mm
  • Zinc: BMT 0.70mm.

Clips: Clips are available in either stainless steel or galvanised steel and are supplied to meet the project specification. They are generally fixed at 600 mm centres, although spacing may vary depending on wind loading and local site conditions. Refer to the attached clip detail drawing.

Fixings: Fixings are supplied in the specified material and finish. The size and length are selected to comply with the New Zealand Building Code and the Metal Roofing Manufacturers Association (MRM) Code of Practice.

Material Warranty: 15-year warranty against perforation, 15-year warranty against coating failure.

Installation Warranty: 5-year weatherproofing warranty against defects resulting from substandard workmanship.
