Freeman Roofing is New Zealand's largest family owned manufacturer of steel roof, rainwater and wall cladding products. Founded in 1956 by Eric Freeman, the business has expanded from one factory/branch based in Nelson, to ten factory/branches in Dunedin, Queenstown, Wanaka, Ashburton, Timaru, Blenheim, Nelson, Tauranga, Whangarei and Wellington.

We are 100% New Zealand owned, so profits stay onshore. Each of our individual factory/branches are custom configured to produce products that match the unique conditions of the region. Our people are local industry experts that are passionate about their craft and your building project, big or small.

Our main supplier is NZ Steel (TM) and we have been purchasing the steel made at their Glenbrook steel mill, south of Auckland, since the mid 1960's under the patented and well known brands of COLORSTEEL(R) MAXX/ENDURA and ZINCALUME(R)
