Tanova pull-out laundry baskets and hampers are ideal solutions for managing household laundry and utilising space efficiently, while keeping laundry neat and out of sight.
The Tanova laundry range covers several segments:
All Tanova laundry units carry the official NZ Made licence.
The entire Tanova laundry range features super smooth sliding action using superior runner technology for effortless opening and soft closing every time.
Our Tanova Laundry range features baskets in either electro-galv powder coated steel or our stylish and svelte plastic hamper designed and made here in New Zealand. Our laundry baskets are air vented to enable airflow and breathability, but with solid bases to ensure no drips into your cabinetry.
For laundry cabinets from 350mm to 800mm, the Tanova Designer Series pull out laundry bin system features soft-close runners with a 60kg load capacity. These runners over-extend to allow for easy removal of the basket, even of the rear basket if it's a two basket model!
The Designer Series has increased framework rigidity thanks to new extruded aluminium side panel connecting drawer runner and top cover. This means the frame is less likely to twist as you pull it out and push it in. This upmarket range also has a streamlined design for reduced grime build up and easier cleaning, plus it comes with a full size template for installation.
65L and 100L baskets are made from powder coated steel. 36L baskets are plastic.
Want to know a bit more about Tanova?
Tanova is a kitchen bin, laundry unit and ventilated drawer making brand owned by FIT, a wholly New Zealand owned and operated family firm.
In February 2022, we reached the significant milestone of 10 years since we launched our first Tanova pull-out laundry unit (February 2012). This was a first for New Zealand and, we believe, also a world first!
The launch came after the 2007 purchase of a small garage-based kitchen bin operation, which was followed by five years of redevelopment and innovation in the kitchen bin range.
Our first Tanova laundry units included options for 450mm, 600mm and 800mm wide cabinets, all with powder coated steel baskets. The steel basket is still a popular option within the range and the addition of a plastic hamper, in 2016, enabled options for cabinets from 300mm wide, including 2-basket models.
