  • Tanova Simplex pull out laundry units are available for cabinets from 300mm to 450mm wide and offer many of the features of more expensive options at a reasonable price. There's options to suit a fixed (drawer style) front installation, behind hinged door installation and frame/basket options to sit on alternative drawer brands.
  • Tanova Simplex Plus pull out laundry units were developed to provide a streamlined, enclosed side for wider cabinets of 400mm and 450mm, while remaining budget-friendly
  • There are steel (65L) and plastic (36L) laundry basket options and soft-close runners are standard on all Simplex Plus models.

About Tanova

Tanova is a kitchen bin, laundry unit and ventilated drawer making brand owned by FIT, a wholly New Zealand owned and operated family firm.

In February 2022, we reached the significant milestone of 10 years since we launched our first Tanova pull-out laundry unit (February 2012). This was a first for New Zealand and, we believe, also a world first!

The launch came after the 2007 purchase of a small garage-based kitchen bin operation, which was followed by five years of redevelopment and innovation in the kitchen bin range.

Our first Tanova laundry units included options for 450mm, 600mm and 800mm wide cabinets, all with powder coated steel baskets. The steel basket is still a popular option within the range and the addition of a plastic hamper, in 2016, enabled options for cabinets from 300mm wide, including 2-basket models.

Our Tanova team never rest on their laurels and innovation has continued since the original launch of Tanova laundry:

  • Options with plastic baskets. Initially sourced from Europe, we developed our own basket in 2019 and now produce it in Christchurch which allowed us to gain New Zealand Made certification for almost all of our Tanova laundry range (and a significant portion of the kitchen bin range too). Since then the entire laundry range has qualified.
  • Options that can be installed behind a hinged door or on existing drawer frames, making them ideal for retrofitting.
  • Options that are compatible with Legrabox runners.
  • Options built on premium Simlead drawer kits with ever-active push to open on some models (Designer Series 2)
