From humble beginnings, Bakewell Burners Outdoor Fireplaces were crafted because after exhaustive searching we couldn't find the right solution for our outdoor entertainment area. The options were far too large, extremely heavy and difficult to position, non-performing, cost-prohibitive or outright just didn't look right.

With 30 year's experience in the engineering trade as a fitter/welder, boat builder and most things in-between, Wayne decided to design his own, focusing on solutions to these problems. With a Kiwi 'can-do' resolve and by utilising the alloy offcuts from our successful vacuum tank business, Alloy Industries Ltd, Wayne set about designing and fabricating.

The resulting design was tweaked and modified over time until the final product received such enthusiastic feedback we decided to share our great fires with others.  We have gone from strength to strength in the last few years, with Bakewell Burners becoming a thriving business in its own right. It is surely a testament to kiwi ingenuity, skill and passion to provide an outdoor fireplace that can satisfy the most demanding entertainer. Stoke up the fire, sit back and enjoy the heat and ambiance of your new Bakewell Outdoor Fireplace.
