What Low E means: It's short for "Low Emissivity" glass. Energy efficient: Low E glass is very energy efficient with a special coating that lets in light while retaining heat inside to help maintain indoor comfort levels. Reduce power bills: Metro Low E glass can reduce heat loss by up to 61% compared to standard double glazing, saving you money on your power bills. Helps reduce risk of overheating: If overheating is an issue for your home in the hot summer months, choose from our two solar control glass options - Xtreme™ Low E or SunX™ Grey Low E, both help reduce solar heat by up to 58% when compared to standard double glazing. They also keep your home warmer in the colder winter months. Let’s in natural light: Visible Light Transmission also called "VLT" is a measure of how much natural light comes through the glass.
