We built our home in Queenstown and used Bespoke Architecture to draw our dreams into reality. We were impressed right from the beginning when they came to our section and we discussed what we would like and they then turned it into our perfect house. We found Vincent and Dan both to be very engaging throughout the entire process and super helpful with any questions we had – and we had a lot! They stayed hands on throughout the build process and we are super grateful to them for all their insights and assistance. In 2014 after some deliberation due to personal circumstances, I decided to build a new home on a section I purchased in 1980 located on the north side of the family home of 40 years in Rockinghorse Rd, South Shore Christchurch.

I engaged my builder-friend and we collectively chose Bespoke Architecture to create my dream home. My builder had never used Bespoke Architecture before and so the journey began.

From day one I found the Director, Vincent Sanders and his team very professional, courteous and receptive of my ideas, which when finalized were everything and more than I had initially envisaged.

Throughout the building process, Vincent kept in regular contact, visiting my site often, giving me added encouragement and support, nothing was a bother.

I now reside in an amazing home, and thank Bespoke Architecture and in particular Vincent, for everything they did for me throughout the exercise.

His team was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. They were open to include our ideas and preferences. The plans were fantastic and made it easy for the builders to use on site. The team was available for questions and adjustments during the build process. The flow and the feel of the house is amazing and as you walk through each area pulls you into the next in just the right way. The design has captured the beautiful views and made the absolute most of them. We felt valued and well supported as their clients. Bespoke obviously take customer service very seriously because we’ve never needed to follow them up – it was always the other way round. Communication was exemplary and we really appreciated them putting our wants and needs at the forefront. Attention to detail was also very good. 

We’ve found zero wasted space in our house. They scrutinized and revisited every space, asking us how we liked to live and where the high value areas were so we knew where to compromise less.

By far the favourite part of the process was the interaction with switched on designers. We loved getting to add our flare to the project while having confidence that we’d be challenged on our ideas - ultimately so they could see what was important to us and what was not. It really came down to trust, and an open attitude to their invaluable input.

We got everything we dreamed of, and more. Would we use Bespoke again? You bet!

We have known Vincent Sanders for several years, after we sought help to write covenants for our small subdivision and for house design expertise.  

The covenants were duly attended to and then the house design was undertaken. We didn’t have many preconceived ideas about what we wanted and were happy to be guided by Vincent, who came up with a concept after a few consultations. That same house design is currently under construction with barely any changes, certainly none to the outward appearance, which we thought Vincent had nailed. 

For us, the process was particularly painless and we are so far very pleased with the results. The computerised graphics made visualising the plans very easy and the staff at Bespoke Architecture have all been great to deal with. 

To summarise. A great team at Bespoke Architecture lead by Vincent, who make the complicated process of house design and consenting easy.

Vincent Sanders was recommended to us through a friend who had used his company Bespoke and had been very impressed with them.

My wife & myself have been in the construction industry our entire working careers. My wife Debbie had been an architect designer for 30+ years and retired.

Our brief was a Duplex with a list of what we wanted being a lock and leave townhouses.

The site was tight with our requirements plus we knew it wouldn’t comply with some council rules.

Vincent and team fulfilled our brief extremely well and added some great exterior features that we wouldn’t have thought of. These features have been very well praised by people.

Vincent working alongside a town planner we used overcame all the Council non-complying issues which wasn’t straight forward.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Vincent’s company.
