Our job had inherent complexity being a ground floor unit in Sydney with difficult access. Our goal was for an extensive renovation involving relocating existing rooms on the floor plan. Andrew and the team at Lou projects worked with us to scope out the project and delivered to an exceptionally high standard. Whilst they typically specialise in large house builds they able to transpose this expertise into our small and rather dark apartment, helping us open it up into a more expansive and better laid out space.

Luke was the site manager for our job and worked with us extremely well including handling our variations that came up along the way, not to mention navigating with strata and keeping our neighbours comfortable and reassured during the process.

You can clearly see that Andrew and his team are passionate about quality and building to a high standard, I would definitely work with them again in the future.

Lou Projects is a pleasure to do a building project with. In an age where a lot of building work is slapdash and performed to the lowest possible standard, their work is high quality and professional. All the employees are friendly and helpful, very responsive and pay a lot of attention to detail, delivering a very high-quality result. Our renovation was a large one, taking almost a year to complete and we did not have a single problem with this company or any of the tradespeople who worked with them. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Andrew and his team from Lou Projects carried out and oversaw a broad range of extensive renovations at my house on the Central Coast during the winter of 2021. Whilst their planned work was executed to a very high standard and to the exact specifications that we were after, what really impressed me was their attention to detail; identifying small opportunities to further develop our renovation plans and make the finished product even better than we could have hoped for! Each member of the Lou Projects team was extremely professional, demonstrated a high skill level and was a pleasure to have at the house. For over two years we struggled to find a builder who would help us realise our dream for our home. Many found the task too daunting and just said no, others never got back to us but Andrew from Lou Projects was enthusiastic, organised and visionary. We cannot just ignore his team. Kieran our site manager was always ready to help, discuss and consult on any issues that arose. The whole team were highly professional, always polite and friendly.

Andrew and the team at Lou Projects have completely transformed what was a very unused and wasted space, into our new outdoor living area/deck and we couldn’t be happier!! They have also completely transformed our old brick exterior into a more modern look with cladding. Whilst we had some ideas on our plans, the team were really able to further this with their own suggestions along the way!

The team have been very professional throughout the whole process, and has a friendly and tidy manner – we looked forward to having a chat with them each day. My husband and I purchased a Lou Projects built home in December 2019. The Killara House oozed sophistication and class. No expense was spared when this house was built and this is throughout the whole residence, from the incredible front door made of the most beautiful recycled hardwood materials to the finer details like the handmade blush pink stone basins in the bathrooms.

The open plan living is incredible not to mention all the sustainability elements that this house has to offer. My husband and I had a very long list of what our first home (not property) had to have and this house honestly ticked all those boxes and many more! It’s our dream house and we look forward to building another dream home with Andrew and his team at Lou Projects sometime in the future. You can tell this team loves what they do and are extremely talented and professional at their craft. 

We recently completed what can only be described as a dream studio built on our property. Andrew and his team were a dream to work with on what turned out to be a not-so-simple build. We were in a badly ‘flame zone’ rated BAL area which changed what and how we built. From start to finish we were guided through the process and always felt in control of what was happening whilst able to rely entirely on Lou Projects to manage everything for us. We can’t recommend them enough and will be definitely using them throughout further renovations we plan to complete over the next 24 months.
