Healey Heritage staff produced measured drawings to (Level 2) of the HNZPT building recording guidelines. These were required for the demolition of the building and the development of the site. Unique elements were recorded as a condition of the Archaeological Authority including measured drawings of mouldings and ceiling roses as well as elevations and sections of the building. The home belonged to the Ballantynes family, a prominent Christchurch family who founded the well known retail outlet.
