Healey Heritage staff performed a variety of tasks for the delisting of the Nightingale Ward at Masterton Hospital from the District Plan as part of a treaty settlement and redevelopment of the site. This required a Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA).

Heritage Impact Assessments are the highest level of technical report writing within the built environment. This project required rigorous historical research in order to establish the contextual values of the heritage assets and Māori archaeological values. The required elevations and plans of the building were extracted from point cloud data from an RTK survey drone that was supplied information, this meant that no double-handling was involved for building recording so the client cost could be kept to a minimum.
