A meticulously designed split-level home in Alderton Park, Kerikeri, featuring high-quality finishes, a mono-pitch roof, and expansive decks that embrace natural light and stunning views, all while harmonizing with the tropical landscape.
Designed by Karin Lindholm for the owners of Newson Construction in 2011 and built to a high standard, this home in Alderton Park, Kerikeri was designed to follow the contour of the site and capture the winter sun. Clad in Linea weatherboard with a mono-pitch roof, the split level house achieves space and privacy over 3 levels.
The decks at each level overlook a small pond to the north-west with a timber pergola over the main deck incorporating battens and an outdoor blind to give shade in the hot Kerikeri summers, while allowing the lower winter sun to flood the living spaces with light and warmth.
The setting is enhanced by the choice of landscape planting to give a tropical feeling to the garden. The high level of finishing and attention to detail by the builder, Rev Newson of Newson Construction, created a home to impress.
