The iconic Ancestral bar and eatery in Wellington's Courtney Place needed a respectful and refined finish. Holmes oversaw the fit out to the highest degree. Proudly dark and mysterious, the detailing and level of finish is a testament to the designers, and the construction team.
The project included stripping back the entire building, including removing old wooden floor piles. The New Zealand Historic Places Trust were involved throughout the entire project and with a together attitude this caused no delays.
