Elegant bathroom renovation at Beach House, Tutukaka featuring a unique outward-hinged wall, floor-to-ceiling louvred window for natural light, and ambient recessed LED lighting that enhances the wave-textured tiles.
To provide room for a bath and a shower, the external wall was 'hinged' outwards. This gave an opportunity to have a floor to ceiling louvred window, thus give a view in the afternoon sun. The evening ambience is from a recessed LED strip light in the floor behind the bath. This muted light washes up the wave formed textured tiles. The bath ware came from bath and has beautiful pure shapes created in matt white. The bath holds the heat due to the 20mm thick reconstituted stone construction
