Matapouri Beach House
The house creates a private form of encampment experience with a sense of sanctuary and protection.
The house reads as a single form however within the surrounding block walls and screens, it is made up of two separated pavilions with the courtyard between.
The northern pavilion provides an open plan living and covered outdoor entertaining area. The southern pavilion is a peaceful retreat with contrasting seclusion for sleeping.
