Brellah & Movement HQ is a design for a multifaceted Medical, Health and Wellness Centre in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, providing a one stop solution for healthcare related needs under one roof.
Split across two levels, the ground floor contains an on-site fitness centre, Movement HQ, providing personal training and rehabilitation services, as well as separate studios for Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Barre classes. The first floor sees a dedicated space for Brellah’s General Practice, in-house consulting rooms, specialist rooms, a board room, reception area and an open-plan seating area. Built-in banquette seating and comfortable loose furniture, are complemented by decorative wall sconces which elevate the space and provide a layer of contemporary sophistication, and create a warm and welcoming environment.
Sprinklings of rich burgundy, blush pink, forest green and deep indigo hues are contrasted against monochromatic and effortless black and white moments, creating a unified space that is inviting and unexpected. A material palette of matte and gloss finishes, pale hued timber veneers and resin surfaces aid in creating interest and contribute to Brellah moving away from the traditional aesthetics of healthcare related spaces. Natural light filters through expansive glazing whilst semi-sheer curtains provide privacy and add an element of warmth and subtle elegance.
