By Tom Mark Henry
Thoughtfully designed to sit quietly alongside the sweeping views of Marion Bay, Tasmania.
Our design drew inspiration from the beautiful environment of the Bream Creek vineyard, Tasmania. The space has been thoughtfully designed to sit quietly alongside the sweeping views of Marion Bay, and is the first cellar door for the prestigious wine label, Bream Creek. We designed a space that paid homage to the rugged textures and naturally derived colour palette in an architectural form that sits gently in the surrounding landscape.
Materials have been chosen for their craftsmanship; earthy clay terracotta, natural stone, green glazed tiles, and a diversity of warm toned timbers. The heart of the space is an impactful green and brass fireplace that adds warmth and cleverly divides the space. Striking feature lighting and some unique joinery detailing adds to the inviting atmosphere that certainly encourages patrons to linger.
