Brick Lantern Residence

A modest project involving alterations and additions to an existing brick and tile bungalow.
The original idea was to create a stand alone addition, its position in relation to the existing home creating a new interior space, exterior private courtyard, and new entrance gallery. The brick palate was decided on to complement the existing materials while highlighting the new areas. We were able to sneak the new extension beneath the established trees providing a beautiful relationship that appears established immediately.
