A garden to highlight indigenous grassland species.

These clients wanted to showcase local indigenous flora and blend their front yard seamlessly with the streetscape and bushland surrounds. Large local boulders placed in clusters delineate the property boundary whilst making the most of the borrowed landscape of the nature strip.

In the back, a dry creek bed diverts rainwater to an existing stormwater pit while local rocks help to naturalise the existing retaining wall and terracing. A new deck will create a more usable entertainment space and connect the house to a productive raised garden bed area.
