Construction of the Brooklyn Fire Station, a two-appliance bay facility, exemplifying Fire Rescue Victoria's commitment to Environmental Sustainable Design principles, following the successful completion of the Derrimut Station.
Fire Rescue Victoria (formerly MFB) committed to the construction of two new Fire Stations to service the Brooklyn, Derrimut and surrounding suburbs.
Derrimut was completed only a few months prior and targeted a 5-Star Design & Build Rating with Green Building Council (currently under assessment).
The new Brooklyn Station is a two-appliance bay facility that adopts all of the ESD Principles used in the Derrimut Station, reinforcing FRV’s commitment to set the benchmark for ESD.
