Mentone Girls Grammar School's Aquatic Centre features a striking design with a 25m indoor pool, diving towers, and solar-heated freshwater pools, providing a state-of-the-art facility for swimming, diving, and water polo, completed in January 2019.
Completed and opened in January 2019 Mentone Girls new Aquatic Centre provided students and staff with a facility for swimming, diving and water polo. The centre features a 25m, 8 lane indoor pool with 1 and 3m diving towers, learn to swim pool, freshwater pools with solar heating and reticulated rainwater as well as various multipurpose facilities. The exterior of the centre features a striking design of blue glass blades, which not only give the centre a dramatic and iconic look, but provide for sunshading and light diffusion throughout the centre.
