Taylor Construction is proud to present Broomfields, a stunning two-level Farmhouse for Craig Wallen completed in 2022. This 310m2 masterpiece entered into the Master Builder House of the Year awards 2023 was designed in partnership with Mia Casa Architecture and built on a 1.8 hectares semi-rural section in Whitford. The house contains four bedrooms, two lounges, two bathrooms and an extra toilet, allowing plenty of space including a double garage.
The drive up the long driveway from Broomfield’s Road leads you to a concrete driveway and welcoming front schist stone veneer porch entrance. The cladding is a mix of Schist & Cedar weatherboard with colour steel roofing. When you walk inside, the craftsmanship of Taylor Construction is evident with a stone feature wall, polished concrete floors throughout the main lounge and kitchen, large wooden ceiling beams and a barn door in the lounge giving the house a classic Farmhouse feel.
The bedrooms are fully carpeted, with the fourth bedroom and second lounge area away from the main living area, sitting comfortably upstairs. The rear sliding door of the lounge opens up into an alfresco area complete with schist columns and a view of the Mangemangeroa Estuary inlet.
