Byron Bay Residence

5.7K profile views

The Byron Bay beach house steps away from the conventional coastal aesthetic, leaning instead into warmth, resilience and quiet ease for an active family. Deeply grounded in place, the home is the product of a long-standing relationship between Hecker Guthrie and the clients, standing as a considered counterpoint to their Melbourne dwelling. Interiors are shaped around the rhythm of the family's days, drawing the surrounding landscape inward through textural finishes, weathered timbers and unhurried light.
