Thoughtful transformation of a Californian Bungalow, blending original architecture with a contemporary extension for a harmonious living space.

This project revolves around the transformation of a Californian Bungalow home, thoughtfully blending its original period architecture with a contemporary extension. The primary objective was to create a harmonious coexistence between the old and new elements for our clients, who were seeking to transition into a smaller and more manageable living space as they entered a new phase of their lives.

“Jane was great to work with. Her collaborative approach enabled us to achieve our vision and ideal family home. I wanted to work with an architect that was keen to build on ideas and work together as a team and Jane was able to provide that. Jane also showed a lot of flexibility as we changed a number of things during the build for the better to achieve a great design. In the end we have our perfect family home that is practical and beautiful all in one.”
