Classic Cheltenham Villa.

The current owners of this beautiful, double-fronted square bay villa moved into the home in 2019. Although they had been left a neat, classic and freshly renovated canvas by the previous owners, it wasn’t necessarily all to their taste. Cheltenham Rd was engaged to refresh the villa with modern lighting and new paired back furniture pieces. The owners wanted to honour the heritage and grand proportions of the house whilst creating a contemporary, calm and inviting, family home.

Light muted colours and stronger bursts of colour such as olive green and mustard were introduced in the décor and fabrics against a classic monochrome base. Cabinetry in the bedrooms were updated to be more functional but also to suit the architecture of the home and new wall treatments were introduced. Many of the feature light pendants were replaced with more modern fittings and complimentary artwork and furniture was selected that fitted the grand scale of the elegant home and those amazing ceilings.
