The new house, in Clearwater Springs, Christchurch is a two-storey dwelling of timber-frame and isolated steel member construction. The roof is pitched and comprised of cut timber rafters and proprietary trusses clad in steel sheeting. The external walls are clad in timber and rendered cementitious board and there are large areas of glazing. There are also two schist-clad chimneys. 181004-SFP01v1 2 of 5 The house has four bedrooms and a total floor area of approximately 375 m2 with 317 m2 at ground floor (including garage) and 58 m2 at first floor.
