The new house, in Clearwater Springs, Christchurch is a two-storey dwelling of timber-frame and isolated steel member construction. The roof is pitched and comprised of cut timber rafters and proprietary trusses clad in steel sheeting. The external walls are clad in timber and rendered cementitious board and there are large areas of glazing.
