This new 230 m2 dwelling on a TC2 site required a bespoke waffle slab foundation including geometric additions to suit the architectural layout and a stepped arrangement to support the external extension of the roof.
The roof over the entrance has been designed to provide a thin eaves profile as viewed from the street.
Bracing design required some careful consideration to transfer loads across the open-plan living space.
