Clearwater Quays Apartments: A pioneering five-storey luxury development in Christchurch, showcasing natural NZ timber and innovative low-carbon solutions for a sustainable future.
Clearwater Quays five-storey luxury apartments situated next to Lake Rotoiti in Christchurch have been built to showcase natural NZ timber. Redstag TimberLab supplied the Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) for the timber structure (a first for an apartment building in NZ) providing fire resistance and earthquake strengthening as well as a low carbon footprint achieved through sequestered CO2.
Thermosash solutions delivered are our PW1000 Unitised High Performance Curtainwall, Delta Suite windows and thermal sliders with integrated vents.
Our low embodied carbon aluminium extrusions provide upfront carbon reductions and contribute to the overall success of this low carbon sustainable development.
Thermosash has the knowledge and expertise to assure a compliant, buildable, warrantable and high-performance facade solution that cohesively integrates our low-carbon aluminium prefabricated suites and products.
