Clyde Quay Wharf sits in the centre of Wellington, a stand-alone site on the harbour in a uniquely vibrant city. ECC has just completed the exterior wharf lighting for this residential complex.
Carrying on the iGuzzini Maxiwoody luminaire used in other parts of the Wellington waterfront, eCubed and ECC settled on the Maxiwoody with the 60W and 140W Philips Cosmopolis lamp source for the pole mounted luminaires, located around the wharf edge. This fitting was selected specifically to wash over the drive/walkway with a small spill of light into the Marina.
The 5616 Maxiwoody small body and the larger 5620 are luminaires designed for the harsh seaside environment of the Wellington waterfront. The iGuzzini paint process is carried out using acrylic paint, with maximum protection against UV solar radiation.
The Lumascape inground LS563LED with Blue LED source was also used as an indicator light for traffic moving around the wharf. These are 316 marine grade stainless steel and suitable for driving over when used with the LS698-K pre installation kit.
