This family home in Coatesville is nestled in a valley and designed to take full advantage of the northwest views. The clients wanted a large country home designed that would appeal to a wide range of people and potential buyers. Solid precast concrete walls were used - as this is what the client was familiar with, being a commercial builder.

The house is spread out in wings which relate to their functions, creating courtyards and different outdoor areas. Gable room forms allow for the creation of dynamic and impressive interior spaces. Lightweight timber elements offset the solidity of the precast walls.

The house gives the luxurious feeling that you are on holiday.
