A 10m wide cyclorama – a sleek white wall with no apparent beginning or end – sits under a pitch-black ceiling. The colour detail is drawn across to the window framing, electrical outlets, lighting racks, all carefully ordered with respect to grids and proximity, in a gestalt, ‘whole of design’ system, and connected to the outside world through a carefully resolved garage door and loading bay.

Looking through the studio’s postcard windows, you can see elements of this aesthetic carried into the ground floor kitchen with its adjacent accessible bathroom. Head upstairs however, and the aesthetic diverges and dissolves into texture, with a more luxurious and delicate aesthetic expressed. Downstairs, a white-steel KXN modular kitchen and large island anchors the space, providing a functional work and relaxation area. Upstairs, utilitarian concrete walls are juxtaposed with rounded timber joinery, light-edged round mirrors, a meeting room framed by fluted glass, and luxuriously tiled bathroom and shower – all complemented and coordinated with subtle coral tonal accents.
