Blue chip retail refit

Our client wanted to transform the existing building to create a prime retail site. Previously a purpose built Australia Post Office and later a bank, the premises had been modified many times leaving it tired and with many practical and aesthetic problems. Work had to be done, but not at the cost of a vible return on investment!

Internal circulation and upper floor access was modified to create an open contemporary retail space. Externally the building had elements removed, was repainted, services were screened from view along with windows that gained excessive solar heat and light. Minimal, but transformative.
