Crittall Arnold were engaged by Lindesay Construction to manufacture install and glaze the steel joinery for this elevated building site with magnificent views on Waiheke Island, Auckland. The large hinged Forster Presto doorsets that surround the main living area have been hinged off the structure, without having a separate steel frame to house the door leaves, to maximise the openings and enhance the view. Concealed overhead door closers have been utilized to provide more control over the opening and closing of the large doors.
A mix of bi-folding and hinged doors have been used throughout.
