Dad's Pies - Frost Heave Repair Job
Warm NZ Central Heating was approached by Dad's Pies to address the frost heave issues in their freezer floor. Working closely with Rehau's design team, we were able to devise a solution to supply and install underfloor heating (UFH) pipework beneath the existing floor. This timely intervention prevented the freezer from becoming unusable, thus avoiding the costly necessity of decommissioning and rebuilding the entire freezer unit.
Our team expertly installed Rehau underfloor pipes, connecting them at each end with Rehau manifolds and linking them to a Logic gas boiler. Once commissioned, the UFH system efficiently heated the floors, melting the ice and allowing the floors to return to their original levels. This successful repair not only resolved the frost heave issue but also prevented further damage, ensuring the longevity of the freezer for Dad's Pies.
