Dalefield Entertainers

Set against a breathtaking backdrop of mountain ranges, this Queenstown home was distinguished as Gold and Category Winner in the Masterbuilders House of the Year, 2018. This 385sqm residence is the quintessential alpine retreat done in an extraordinary contemporary style whilst accommodating thermal efficiency. Insulated to more than two-times code requirements and with extensive triple glazing, views can be appreciated from any space, be it either of the two open-plan living areas, the simple – but altogether stunning – kitchen, or each of the four bedrooms. The three bathrooms are an amalgam of clean, elegant lines, with beautiful tiling and joinery.      With their considered design, north-facing louvres allow for air circulation in summer. Come winter, a wood-burning fireplace is a fitting choice for a home that will be dusted in snow. A loft can be found upstairs. The quincho-style pavilion and wraparound deck mean there is ample space for outdoor seating and dining, well sheltered from the elements.
