This project focuses on transforming the kitchen of a semi-retired artist and entrepreneur into a warm, inviting space that reflects her personal style. With an emphasis on increased storage and an industrial, edgy aesthetic, our goal was to create a functional yet visually appealing kitchen for solo cooking.

Through in-depth discussions with the client, we gained creative freedom to reimagine the kitchen. To combat the cold atmosphere, we prioritised warmth in both colour and materials. A standout feature is the secret door to the laundry, cleverly concealed within a textured feature wall. This design element not only masks the bulkhead but also adds visual interest, enhancing the overall flow of the room.

We selected grigio bromo Fenix material for its sleek finish, pairing it with warm-toned benchtops and splashbacks to introduce depth and richness. Copper accents in fixtures and small details infuse an edgy, industrial touch that resonates with the client’s artistic sensibilities.

Additionally, we designed a fluted glass benchtop bifold, providing a functional workspace while cleverly concealing frequently used items. The metal mosaic splashback ties all colours and textures together, elevating the kitchen's aesthetic.

The redesigned kitchen perfectly blends functionality and aesthetics, showcasing the client’s artistic flair. It’s an inviting, classic space that meets her needs and reflects her unique style, making it our favorite project to date.
