Bestwood Melamine is a great choice not just for kitchens but for any interior project that needs to look good and work its socks off.

Our low pressure melamine panels are made to cope with life's knocks and carry a 10 year warranty.  We offer a choice of texture finishes on all colours - Velvet, Embossed, Woodgrain and Wilderness.  Plus our latest addition Timberland finish offers an incredibly deep and realistic timber grain that has fooled even the experts into thinking it was a real veneer when used in conjunction with a woodgrain design.  A high gloss finish is available for white only. 

Bestwood Melamine carries Eco Choice Aotearoa accreditation and has an extensive range of substrate options including MDF MR/EO, MDF FR and particleboard.  1800-wide panels are also available, giving added flexibility and affordability.  Our melamine carries at 10 year warranty.

Note:  Aways make your colour selections from an actual sample, not from a digital screen where colour variation will occur.

Bestwood Melamine is a range of low-pressure laminate pre-finished panels available in a wide range of designs, finishes and substrate options.

It’s an elegant, durable and low-maintenance surface that won’t streak, craze or easily scratch, stain or warp.  Suitable for use in interior cabinetry, shelving, furniture and wall panelling.

Surface finishes are a good way to add a personal touch to you project. Bestwood Melamine offers 4 surface finish options to complement your surface colour choice:

Embossed:
A lightly textured, orange-peel-like surface appearance

Velvet:
A lightly textured, delicate eggshell surface appearance

Woodgrain:
For a more authentic wood grain look, simulates the quarter-cut pattern of natural timber.

Timberland:
A deeply grained, realistic timber finish that is easily mistaken for a real timber veneer when used with a woodgrain design.

Wilderness:
Designed to enhance natural characteristics.

Gloss Plus (only available in Arctic White and Arctic Ice):
A smooth high gloss finish.
