This internal renovation of an early 1900s Devonport villa focuses on carefully balancing the home’s original character with a refined contemporary layer. The intervention is deliberately restrained, allowing the heritage fabric to remain the hero while introducing a series of thoughtfully designed new elements.

A bespoke kitchen forms the heart of the project, with every detail carefully considered—from proportion and material selection through to joinery integration and finishes. The result is a highly functional space that feels both timeless and precise.

Together, with the new bathroom, the upgrades bring a quiet modernity to the interior, enhancing everyday living while respecting the building’s early twentieth-century origins.
