A coastal home built around its setting, where stone was chosen to handle salt air, sun and scale without losing its warmth. This project shows how a single material can move from rooftop to fire pit and still feel considered at every turn.

Dover Heights sits among the most exposed coastal pockets of Sydney, where wind, salt and sun put real pressure on outdoor materials. This home leans into that setting, using a single stone across every level of outdoor living so the eye never has to adjust from one space to the next.

What stands out is restraint. The fire pit zone shares the same material language as the main terrace, just in a different texture, which is what makes the home feel considered rather than assembled.

Professional Reviews

1 / 10

“I am a repeat customer of Sareen Stone based on the quality of their travertine and great service. Gary, from Sareen Stone, has been very helpful in confirming my order and advice on sealing and cleaning products for travertine. He has been very responsive and easy to contact. We have sourced travertine tiles and pavers from Sareen Stone for our house renovations and couldn’t recommend them more highly.”
