It was the site where no one saw the potential. But our clients loved it and knew that with some carefully selected tree removal a stunning lake view and peaceful retreat would be possible. The result is a hideaway for one, or a party house for many. Despite the south facing hillside, this home enjoys plenty of sun through its skylights and well-placed windows as well as into its sheltered deck entertainment area. Powered by a large solar array to meet off-grid needs, this home also collects it’s own roof water. By summer it’s cool and by winter it’s snug thanks to its thick SIPs panel construction.
