Fenton Street Art Collective in Stratford is an alteration of an existing 1920's building.

The ground floor is a hospitality space, consisting of a cafe, boutique distillery and bookable rooms. The upper level is a converted open plan loft home which also functions as an art studio, writing space & library.

As a writer, the client was a firm believer in allowing the building to tell its own story. This has been achieved by reusing and repurposing many original features, and recycling of materials from other sites. In particular, a number of the original internal doors and windows, including the heavy steel safe door, have been saved. In addition, native timber, architraves and window trims were both repurposed and reused.
