The owners of this older bungalow- styled home had plans to add on a large open plan kitchen and living space to their existing floor-plan and to do a complete renovation of their existing house.

We worked with these clients and their architect from the early stages of the project, reviewing plans and layout options to ensure that the new spaces were both functional and beautiful.

Our brief was to combine the new and old. To provide a contemporary space that blended with the older style and character of the original home.

Nicola Manning, Director and Principal Designer, is a qualified interior designer with professional membership of the Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ) and membership of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA NZ). Nicola is a member of the NKBA Executive Board and the chairperson of the Designers of NKBA. Nicola Manning Design was established in 2002.
