Greg Natale Store

This unique concept space, in the heart of Potts Point, was created to offer a mesmerising retail experience and immersion into the Greg Natale brand. Commanding the proud corner location of Gowrie Gate, a well-known Art Deco building, the space holds a significant place in the neighbourhood aesthetic, and Greg Natale worked meticulously to ensure his flagship store remained true to that. Elements of the original shopfront have been recreated, such as the door, handle, green terrazzo threshold and the polished chrome, which, together with glossy black tiles, highlights the curves of the building. The store’s colour scheme is inspired by the grey on grey interior of fashion designer Halston’s, New York townhouse (designed by Paul Rudolph), reveals Greg Natale’s touch at every turn, from the custom Jurassic black and white marble floors and nesting tables to the grey hand-polished plaster ceilings, walls and columns and mirrored shelves. These form the backdrop for the curated selection of home accessories and furniture on display, in a space that celebrates pattern, line and the beauty of its materials.
