Harbourside Courtyard
On this project, we worked in collaboration with designer Tina Engelen, of CO-AP. The key to the success of this home is the central courtyard, which is visible from almost all the living areas on the ground floor. A high boundary wall provides privacy and is covered with Boston Ivy, which offers seasonal change through the year. The space is dominated by three human-sized planters, while at their feet, low topiary and soft playful shapes form an undulating ground plan that is interesting from all angles.
