Supreme comfort and utter calm were the design priorities for homeowners with demanding occupations.  Soft colors, textures and art that satisfies their collector leanings are composed in spaces that quietly invite a good read or a shared family evening. Silver blue textures adorn the walls in the living room, while couture details like velvet banded draperies add quiet sophistication.  A flamestitch ottoman adds a bold moment with plenty of room to put one’s feet up after a long day.    The dining room is a study in blues, inspired by the Prussian blues of the portrait hung between windows dressed in handprinted patterns.  Modern interpretations of classical forms, such as the streamlined Louis chairs and handblown glass vessels gather at the table with more traditional personalities.  A lacquered ceiling reflects the light.
