Skycity has entrusted Ambro Metals with the task of providing Nordic Weathered Brass for the Horizon Hotel project, set to be completed this year. The building will showcase the unique beauty of a prepatinated finish, burnished at the mill to immediately offer the same oxidised brown surface that naturally develops over time. The Brass Architectural alloy of copper and zinc (85/15) creates a distinctive underlying golden metallic shimmer, emanating through the dark pre-weathered patina....
Nordic Weathered Brass presents a rich golden base with a tarnished brown surface. As the Horizon Hotel stands in the heart of Auckland's CBD, the timeless appeal of our Nordic Weathered Brass will continue to tell a story and evolve in over time, adding a touch of luxury to commercial interiors and luxury homes alike.
