Inner-city sanctuary: Christchurch
This inner-city apartment garden is a great study of easy care/low maintenance design. The client comes and goes frequently and wanted to always be able to come back to a great looking space for their central city apartment. This was a perfect opportunity for us to use artificial turf. Always green and always the perfect length we made even more of this feature by placing stepping stones within that will always have perfect, slickly trimmed edges! Easy care and fast-growing species including our favourite Leptinella and Pachysandra quickly filled the garden spaces, while the Pittosporum Golf Balls keep their shape as natural topiary features. The aerial photos here show the outlook over the garden shared by the surrounding multilevel apartment buildings that surround the space.

Inspired by our love of nature & power tools, we originally set out to create beautiful & functional landscapes for people that wanted nice gardens, but didn’t know where to start. However, along the way we realised that our clients needed more help & support during the build process to guide their project to a great finish – so our design, manage, construct process was born.

Since starting the process in 2014, we have helped over 300 people build 150 life spaces – individually tailored to their homes and tastes. And have many more exciting projects in the pipeline!
