Jack's Point Home

The brief was a family home for four; comfortable rather than grandiose. The design aimed to harmonise with the natural surroundings, blending seamlessly into the landscape. Inspired by the rustic charm of traditional farm structures in Central Otago, the concept reimagines the iconic hay barn with modern flair, featuring sleek single-pitch roofs reminiscent of farm sheds. Drawing from the region's architectural heritage, the house incorporates a mix of large and small windows, strategically placed to frame views, enhance privacy, and infuse the space with a human-centric scale and form.
