Established in 2005 by husband and wife team Conan and Sara, Inside Job have long been one of Queenstown Lakes most sought-after decorating businesses. 

Specializing in high end projects, our team of qualified professionals all have backgrounds in the arts, which brings a thoughtful eye to detail to all our work.

We believe, like the icing on a beautiful cake, a beautiful house is completed by a beautiful paint job.

Recent projects have included collaborations with respected high end builders such as Triple Star & Cook Brothers Residential among others.

Conan and Sara spend as much time on site as possible over seeing quality control. We have extensive product knowledge and we are experts in all aspects of painting and decorating with other contractors often approaching our wallpapering specialist to hang their wallpaper.

Eco Friendly :

Inside Job Painters are proud Resene Eco.Decorators, and take our responsibilities to the environment very seriously.

Using environmentally sensitive paint is just the beginning. Disturbed by the amount of waste we see thrown into rubbish skips, we minimise our waste, returning all our paint pails to Resene to be recycled.

These days spraying is used to apply a lot of paint, and windows, doors etc need to be “masked” or covered to protect them. Plastic film is used for this, and we realised on a 170m2  house the equivalent of approximately 300 plastic bags are used.

We have been transitioning to using paper for a lot of this task, as it is biodegradable and we continue to look for other ways to lessen our impact on the environment.
