Extension and upgrade of Lauriston Park village centre in Cambridge, enhancing dining space, external deck, and accessibility features while maintaining high-quality finishes and continuous access for residents.
The project was undertaken in 2019/2020 to extend and upgrade the Lauriston Park village centre building in Cambridge.
The project increased the floor area in the dining room, added additional external deck space and ramps for access. The project was an upgrade of the building to include full new air conditioning systems, acoustic attenuation and accessibility features for the residents. The brief was to extend the building and match the high quality finish of the existing whilst maintaining access to the facility throughout in an aged care environment.
