Clean, formal lines with insets of limestone inform the architecture of this contemporary Sumich Chaplin house.

On the interior, the texture created by the limestone and slatted timber ceiling panels add a natural warmth to the architecture. The lighting of this home therefore required an unobtrusive approach in order to blend with the design. It was decided to use recessed downlights throughout the house in white trim in the gib ceilings and black trim in the timber ceilings. Pendants only feature in the master ensuite and powder room, where Spil and Flask pendants add additional flair.

A selection of copper fittings from Lumascape were chosen to complement the exterior landscaping by Suzanne Turley Design. The copper will patina over time adding to the natural feel of the house.
